No visit to a European country can be complete without a tour of the imperial residence. That place is the Schönbrunn palace in Vienna. I loved the tour of the palace, because we were able to see all of the
rooms and the bedrooms of the royal family. I know it's totally a creepy thing to say but it was very neat to see the furniture in their rooms, their beds, and bathrooms.
The tour was very informative and you get special devices that narrate the whole thing so it's perfect for going at your own pace. This place was crazy packed though, so moving at your own pace was a bit difficult to do, but that did not ruin the experience for me.
There are also gardens behind the palace, which were quite beautiful. We didn't end up exploring them too intensely, because there was already so much to see, but the scenery was delightful!
